Simon has been Vicar of Cogges, North Leigh & South Leigh since January 2013. He is married to Sue and has two sons Thomas & Luke. Before moving to Cogges the family lived in North London for 15 years where Simon worked among other things as a Youth Worker, Church planter, School Chaplain and School Rugby Coach. Simon can often be seen around Cogges shouting for his errant dog Odo to return.
Rich is married to Catherine and they have two boys, Ben and Joshua. Rich oversees Worship & Connect groups at Cogges as well as heading up the 6.30pm service. Rich loves walks with Isla the cocker spaniel, adventures with his family in various boats, and fishing (when he gets the chance).
Andy, Heather and their children Cameron, Kathryn and Kane have attended Cogges since 2008. Andy worked at a drug/alcohol rehabilitation home in London for 8 years before moving to Witney to join Adventure Plus. He is now training for Ordained ministry in the Church of England and started as Operations Director in Oct 2015 as preparation for this. Andy loves sailing but being land-bound settles for golf. Andy's office days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Ben is a Youth Work Intern having come from the DisTIL gap year with Adventure Plus. Ben has lived in Cogges his whole life and is passionate about young people in Witney finding a personal relationship and faith in God. He also enjoys playing hockey, photography and rock climbing.
Beth grew up in Cornwall and lived for while in West Wales. She began coming to St Mary’s Cogges last October while on a gap year at Adventure Plus where she discovered a passion for youth work. This year she has joined the team as a youth and children’s work intern. Beth loves drinking tea, reading and seeing and helping young people to grow closer to God!
Judy came to Witney in 2013 after living and working in Winchester for 25 years. She was employed as Operations Director of Winchester Baptist Church for the six years prior to leaving and then became part of the church family at Witney Community Church along with her husband Andy. She has two adult children and her transition to being an 'empty-nester' has involved undertaking a 2 year MA in Coaching and Mentoring Practice at Oxford Brookes and becoming primary carer for a very cautious (read wimpy) cockerpoo called Bobby. She has been Office and Facilities Manager since November 2016; her working hours are Mon-Fri 9am - 3pm.
Sara, her husband Alasdair and daughter Chloe have worshipped here at Cogges for the past 9 years. She has been Office Administrator since October 2016; her working hours are Mon-Fri 9am - 3pm.
Nick is a self – supporting (that means unpaid!) associate minister working across all three parishes, but with a particular commitment to St James, South Leigh. Married to Heather and with 4 grown up children, Nick has lived in Witney for nearly 40 years and for most of that time has been in a leadership role either at Cogges or South Leigh (or both!). He has done most things in the two churches except being churchwarden or treasurer, and for 24 years was a Licensed Lay Minister. He was ordained in 2012, leads worship and preaches, mainly at South Leigh, and has an oversight responsibility for safeguarding and pastoral care and anything else Simon asks him to. He supports his ministry by working as a senior lecturer in social work at Oxford Brookes University specialising in child welfare and child protection. He relaxes by reading improving texts of theology and spirituality (at least that’s what he’s told the Bishop - and definitely not historical detective fiction).
